Choose & cut from over 7 different species of Christmas trees growing in our plantation.

Our Most Popular Trees.

Nordmann Fir.

The Nordmann Fir has large broad green needles, soft to the touch with a leathery texture. It has very little scent, but has gained popularity because of enhanced needle retention.

A typical seven foot tree will be twelve years old from seed collected in the Caucasus Mountains of Western Georgia or Russia.

£9 per foot (up to 7 foot)

Norway Spruce.

Norway Spruce is the traditional UK Christmas tree with smaller stiffer needles and a beautiful fresh scent. When cut from the plantation and displayed in a water-holding stand, this tree holds its needles every bit as well as a Nordmann Fir.

A typical seven foot tree will be nine years old from seed collected in the forests of Germany or the French Jura.

£6.50 per foot (up to 7 foot)

Other Trees.

By Saturday 26th November, our tree barn will be fully stocked with trees from both of our plantations and Fraser Fir (which refuses to grow on our clay soils) from our friend's Lincolnshire plantation.

You can also find growing in our plantation Blue Spruce, Colorado White Fir, Serbian Spruce and Douglas Fir.

Care Tips.

Cut a thin slither of 1cm off the bottom of your tree before placing it in water. If you can’t do this at home then please let us know and we will do this for you on site!

Place your tree in a water holding stand or bucket of water as soon as you get home. Your tree at first will drink between 0.5 and 1 litre a day so remember to keep it topped up!

Try and keep your tree away from a direct heat source such as a fire or radiator to stop it from drying out. If you follow these tips then your tree should be fresh and healthy all through the Christmas period.

Pot Grown Trees.

We also have a variety of pot grown trees in stock ranging from 2 - 6 feet tall. These are popular as they can be used for multiple years so tend to sell out early in the season.
